Kbox

went to kbox few days ago with ashlyne, daniel, jason. actually only intended to walk around orchard and beng lee and eugene tagged along. but after we went to kbox, they left. felt bad because they came with us for less than hour and went back.

i found out that i am getting out-dated with the songs. kept choosing the old songs. i gonna try and listen to the latest songs so that i can pick them for the next k session. we went during the klunch hour and food was provided and it was not bad. i found out that my singing sux now. jay you said that i am the same level as you, but i dont think so leh... had fun there and we went to slack and shop around till about 5.

Looking at myself

realize that havent been putting up effort in my studies since end sem 1. guess i didnt set my priorities right which cause lots of work to pile up one after another that caused me to be stressed and unable to work well.

however, things gonna change thx to shereen. i am starting from the ground and building up after slacking for so long. thank you my dear.

The Visit

went to visit my grandmother today. my mum and i reached there at about 12 + and we (+ my grandmother) went to bedok central to walk. they went to see the usual fortune teller while i went to browse on sports wear. the price of the sports wear are amazingly high. one badminton racket unstrung: $270. i think i can get a custom made one which i like at about less than $200. anyway, after my grandma and mum finished with the fortune telling, both of them were like discussing what was being told by the fortune teller which i am not interested about.

my grandma than went to buy durians at $5. the durian seller kept trying to ask my grandma to buy more at a offer price but she kept refusing until that guy give up and gave her durians that were selling at $8 instead. kinda weird, dont know why he ended up giving us the durian...

we went to a nearby coffee shop and enjoy the durians. *NOTE*: DO NOT COMBINE COCA COLA WITH DURIANS. i ordered coke and ate the durian, when i drank the coke, this was the first time in my life that the coke tasted like soda water.

anyway, after finishing the durians, we went to another coffee shop to slack. i went to order warm water for my grandma, on the way back to my table, i saw a couple looking and smiling at me. i felt kinda weird but didnt bother about it. my mum kept asking me to share with her yong tao fu because she wants to eat and cannot finish it but i kept saying i am very full (might be because of the "soda water"). but in the end i was ordering yong tao fu with her because the eldest in the table said: "i thought you wanted to order yong tao fu".
while picking the ingredients, i suddenly found out that my zip was open. that reminded me of why the coupled smiled at me. i went to the toilet and ended up seeing a table with coins and toilet paper and a person sitting down beside it. it wouldnt be wise for me to fork out money just to zip my pants. so i went back to my sit and look around and just zipped it. after that i went to meet shereen at about 5+ for dinner. i saw her notes in basic pharmacology and did some research on it on the net and poor dear, she gonna encounter many equations and terms in this module. week 2 since school started we are forseeing lots of work to be done. lets all work hard and happily pull through this second sem of yr 2 and proceed to the FINAL yr.

first time in ice skating

PSI: 70+
will be going to ice skate today. went to meet dear, her name is shereen (for those who wanna know) at about 11. we were actually gonna meet eugene at the mrt but ended up meeting him in the arcade because we wanted to play tc 2. this time i manage to complete it with 2 credits.

after spending time in the arcade, we went to have lunch and went to meet li qiu at jurong east mrt at 1+ and head out to the ice skating area together. there was a price increment from $7+ to $14.70 per person. it was because of the school holidays, guess this is the best time to increase their income. surprisingly with the increment of price, there were still alot of ppl.

it was fun learning how to ice skate. slowly getting the hang of moving around on the ice. however the price to pay is falling alot of times, getting your pants and gloves wet and ppl staring at you. it was dear's second time in skating and she fell more often compared to her first time. eugene didnt enjoy much until he changed his skates to a plastic type with a fastening belt compared to shoe laces (i think this is how it is spelt). i skate for about 3-4 hours and rested awhile for the final hour of skating. than i realize that my leg was feeling uncomfortable all the while because i tied my skates to tightly and when i loosen it, i manage to enjoy the comfort for only an hour. i met jeremy loke's brother there too. he was like me, first time ice skating. he seem to be having alot of fun with his friends while skating and falling at the same time.

any way it was fun skating the first time. but not for dear because she fell more often and some of it were caused by other ppl.

anyway, we were planning to skate after about 2 months time. so that the price will go down and hoping that next time round, there will be more ppl skating with us.

First Blog

First time blogging, dont know how to blog and what to blog much about. My dear wants me to blog so i blogged.

Was a hazy day (PSI:105) today and i am still having sore throat and slight flu, should be recovering soon. Played badminton with my dear and her house mate Arlene yesterday and manage to meet some new friends. One of them, Tak Cheong (i think this is his name) is good in badminton and taught me how to smash, but due to my lack of control, i still sux at it... anyway we are glad to meet them so that we can have a larger group of ppl to play with every saturday. we played doubles for 7 hours straight with all sort of doubles combination. those who wanna play badminton with us every sat feel free to come, we have range of players from pro to newbs (i am in the newb category) for you to play with. i am very exhausted, most of my body parts were aching. after that i just had dinner with dear and met up yulin, alvin, jeremy and lionel.

Today is another hazy day (PSI:110). Met up with my mum and listened to how her job interviews were going. after that met up with dear to eat lunch and went to arcade. i spent $12 on the arcade and she spent $30. we played time crisis 3 at first, which used up about $35 worth of credits. Both of our hands were to itchy. actualy we could have spend less than $35. but as we played the first round, i died first and she was having 2 life, when i was on my way to top up, she lost both life instantly and when i reached the counter, the nice and kind arcade attendent was busy with her paper work and said hold on, the only thing i could do is smile at her and wait for her to attend to me asap. by the time the top up was done, the 20 secounds countdown for us to continue at the same stage as ended and we had to continue the whole game again.... we tried the second time... this time was better because we toped up $10 while the first time was only $5, we were expecting to complete the game this time. fought through till the last stage and manage to defeat the second last boss before we spent finish $10 worth of credits. i was satisfied with the results but dear's hands were still itchy. so she passed me $10 to play again. in the midst of the game, she was scared that $10 was not enough and passed me another $10 to top up. we played through and cleared time crisis 3 using $12 worth of credits. RELIEF... finally finished the game... $8 left in the card and dear wants to play time crisis 2 now... we played and was able to clear the game using $5.50 worth of credits. after that, she was aiming for time crisis 4 and it was a very good thing that the second player was out of order, if not we will be like spending hm... $30 or maybe $40 in it. i feel so bad already having her spending so much already.

once i get my next pay, maybe we can play time crisis 4 together and complete it once and for all and wait for time crisis 5. in the mean time while waiting for tc 5, maybe we will play other shooting games.
